Vauxhall launched its New Corsa model with a unique outdoor campaign at the British International Motor Show. The massive banner was produced and managed by Service Graphics, the campaign was planned by Helen Adcock at Initiative and Susannah Dobb at poster specialist agency, ipm.

The British International Motor Show was held in London for the first time in 30 years at the ExCel Centre and expected to attracted around 500,000 visitors between the 20th - 30th July.

Vauxhall’s New Corsa launched to the world on the biggest poster site in Europe, on the Millenium Mill Building. This was a first for the Mill, which has never been covered before, but stands in great view of the ExCel Centre where the New Corsa was on display for the first time.

This Millennium Mill banner is massive at just over 4000m2 in size and had the biggest reveal ever on Tuesday 18th July when 15 abseilers unveiled the main copy.

In addition, Vauxhall targeted visitors en route to the Motor Show with a variety of large format roadside posters. Sites had been handpicked to target people travelling along different routes. Vauxhall also dominated Custom House, Prince Regent, and Bank DLR stations with standard and bespoke poster formats.

Service Graphics project director Alex Cundiff said, “ It was a pleasure and a challenge to be involved in the creation of such a high profile launch. To break a record along the way with the sheer scale of this banner makes all the hard work worthwhile”
