lenticular graphics
Product Overview
Lenticular graphic imaging is a process that enables the production of 2 dimensional graphic panels that have the appearance of 3 dimensions or create the illusion of movement.
Product Information
There are three types of production:
2 way or 3 way flips (changing from one image to another as the viewer passes the display)
3 dimensional graphics projecting out from the screen
Simulated animation/motion
The process is a combination of an interlacing process, large format digital print and sheets of acrylic that incorporate lenses.
Images supplied are first prepared for the interlace application and then processed to produce a
combination of the images split into very fine vertical strips. This file is then printed via digital photographic large format print methods onto photographic print or transparency.
The prints or transparencies are then mounted to the rear of the acrylic lens in registration. This
combination allows the human eye to only see certain strips of the image at a given viewing angle. Hence the amazing flips and 3 dimensional effects are achieved.
