Completely bespoke graphic suite
Expo 2017 Astana was an International Exposition which took place from June 10 to September 10, 2017 in Astana, Kazakhstan. The idea behind the expo was to get countries, non-governmental organisations, companies and the general public to have discussions around the expo theme of “Future Energy”.
More than 100 countries and 10 international organisations, in addition to approximately 2-3 million participants were invited to concentrate on innovative and practical energy solutions and the overall future of energy.
The expo occupied 25 hectares with the construction undertaken by over 100 companies, with 868 m2 dedicated to the Pavilion of Spain and occupied by various organisations, one of those being our client Acciona.
Service Graphics worked on the UAE and Spain Pavilions producing all graphics, with a team of 10 build experts working on installation for 20 days. We provided the following products:
- 70 LED lit fabric lightboxes in varying sizes up to 7m width x 2.8m height
- 1000 sqm of printed wall coverings
- 3D bespoke signage exterior hoarding graphics for the face of each Pavilion
The aim for us was to provide graphics that were not only futuristic but also reflective of the overall theme and helped to include visitors onto the journey, prompting conversation and inspiration.
